A piece of succulant beef mince lasagna

Lasagne – Carina North Quality Meats

Lasagne Ingredients:

  • 500g of Carina North Quality Lean Grass-Fed Beef Mince
  • 1 large brown onion
  • 1 Jar of tomato pasta sauce
  • Lasagne Sheets

Cheese Sauce Ingredients:

  • 50g of Butter
  • ¼ flour
  • 1 cup of Cheese

Step One: Cook (your desired choice) lasagne sheets by following the instructions as directed on the back of the packet.
Step Two: To make the cheese sauce, heat up the butter and then add the flour and cheese, stir till combined.
Step Three: Slowly begin to mix in 2 cups of milk till the mixture has thickened.
Step Four: Meanwhile, in a large frying pan, add the mince. Cook, stirring with a wooden spoon to break up any lumps, for 4-5 minutes or until the mince changes colour, then add the tomato sauce and onion, stir till onion has softened.
Step Five: Line a large tray with a layer of Lasagne Sheets.
Step Six: Pour a decent layer, on top of the first layer of pasta sheets, with the beef mince mixture and cheese sauce.
Step Seven: Add another layer of the Lasagne Sheets and another layer of beef mince mixture and cheese sauce and repeat till you have desired volume in tray.
Step Eight: Top it off with a layer of cheese.
Step Nine: Place in the oven and cook for 40 minutes at 180 degrees celsius.
