Beef Recipes: Thai Beef Salad


  • 450g/1lb. Carina North Quality Grass Fed Beef Rump Steak
  • 1 ½ cups beansprouts
  • 1 red capsicum, seeded and finely sliced
  • 2 small red onions peeled and cut into quarters
  • 100g fresh baby spinach leaves
  • 45ml sunflower oil
  • 100g lettuce


Step 1: Heat the oil in a non-stick griddle or frying pan. Season the steaks and cook according to your preference.

Step 2:  Place steaks in a warm place, or cover with foil, set aside for 5 minutes to rest.

Step 3: Mix all dressing ingredients in a small bowl.

Step 4: Slice meat across the grain into thin strips.

Step 5: Place beef and the remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Pour any dressing of your preference, then toss gently and serve immediately.
